Virgilio Savona and Music for Children
The exhibition pays tribute to Virgilio Savona, the creative soul of the Quartetto Cetra, through a selection of works dedicated to music for children. Curated by Savona’s son, Carlo Savona, the exhibition unfolds through a remarkable collection of rare and original Quartetto Cetra materials, including record covers for Calvino’s fairy tales, Luzzati’s original illustrations, interviews, theatre set designs, photographs, videos and insights into L’Opera delle Filastrocche, the groundbreaking music education project created in 1983 with music by Virgilio Savona, texts by Gianni Rodari and stage designs by Lele Luzzati. At Casa Luzzati until 4 April 2024. Free admission.
